Do I need a referral?

How long does it take to get an appointment?
You can expect to be seen within 48 hours, however, the office is closed on weekends and major holidays

What can I do to help make things go smoothly?
We respect your time and always do our best to keep you from long, frustrating waits.  We ask you to kindly do some things before your visit that will minimize your wait.

Please complete your health history forms.  APMC will give you 4 or 5 pages of information to complete so please arrive 15 minutes ahead of your scheduled time.
If you have already had tests such as spine x-rays or CT or MRI scans, please sign these out from the facility where they were performed and bring them with you (your scans probably will not be in your doctor's office).  Most hospitals and out-patient diagnostic facilities will not deliver these tests for you.  You will need to pick them up yourself and bring them with you for the initial evaluation.
Please bring copies of the office notes and surgical reports from doctors who have treated you in the recent past.  Your doctor's office will give these to you.

What are your Office Hours?
The Advanced Pain Management Center is open from 8am until 5pm Monday through Friday. The office is closed on weekends and major holidays.

What about Telephone Calls?
Our regular telephone hours are during office hours, and our answering service manages urgent medical calls after hours and on weekends.

Please help us provide top-notch patient care during clinic hours by leaving messages about matters that are not medically urgent.  We will return your call for prescription refills, billing questions, return appointments, and other administrative matters after patient hours that very day.

What is APMC's policy regarding pain medications?
All patients must sign an opiod agreement prior to being prescribed any narcotic medications. This agreement will be reviewed with you by the provider in case there are any questions. We do not to fill prescriptions after hours or on weekends.
